Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) will replace aging diesel buses with CNG and modern diesel buses, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 121,000 pounds per year. RFTA provides commuter bus service from Aspen to Glenwood Springs, Glenwood Springs to Rifle, and intra-city service in Aspen and Glenwood Springs, a service territory that includes numerous disproportionately impacted communities including 29 mobile home communities.
