This funding will strategically deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and establish an interconnected network to facilitate data collection, access, and reliability. Funds are sub-granted by the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) through a competitive process to entities that will build direct current fast-charging electric vehicle charging plazas. CEO prioritizes EV infrastructure projects located in disproportionately impacted communities by awarding additional points during application scoring and CEO incentivizes these projects by providing an additional $5,000 per charger.
