Colorado Conservation Technical Assistance: $2,100,000

Conservation Technical Assistance provides Colorado farmers, ranchers and forestland owners with the knowledge and tools they need to conserve, maintain and restore the natural resources on their lands and improve the health of their operations for the future. Through a competitive application process, Colorado Department of Agriculture sub-grants the funds to Conservation Districts across the state to hire local technical assistance providers. In FY23, numerous Conservation Districts that cover disadvantaged communities received funding, including those covering Baca County, Bent County, Moffat County, Logan County, Cheyenne County, and El Paso County. Conservation Districts in Colorado can be found here.
