The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) will develop and deploy resources to support the adoption and implementation of energy codes at the local level, including direct technical assistance, training to grow the construction and code inspection workforce, and innovative compliance tools such as remote and/or virtual inspections. CEO will provide technical assistance to at least 15 local governments, not fewer than 10 of which will be rural or under-resourced communities. Funding to support adoption, implementation and enforcement of advanced energy codes will be prioritized for communities that lack resources to adopt and implement modern codes and resources.
